Smoothie Bowls have become quite a trend in the last few years and I jumped right on that train! They are a super cute way to have your smoothie with nommy toppings and nut butters!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 small banana
- 6 oz. coconut water
- ½ c. ice
- 6 oz. blueberries
- 6 oz. raspberries or blackberries
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1 tsp. grated peeled fresh ginger
- handful of fresh spinach
- 1 scoop of sunwarrior vegan protein ( or fav kind)
Blend together, starting with the spinach and the water at the bottom** ( guartantees your smoothie comes out smooth not chunky & gross) Then blend all the rest of the ingredients after that.
Pour the smoothie into a cute bowl and begin the toppings
Top with chia seeds, coconut flakes, berries and fav low sugar, high fiber cereal and fav nut butter on top ( make sure its organic and not sweetened! )
With a very obvious side of coffee with frothed coconut milk 😉
You can use all different kinds of smoothies for the base of this recipe, and all kinds of toppings as well!
