I’m not a huge fan of overnight oats…. Let me defend that statement first, I just am not a fan of cold oats, yes I do think that the over night oat fad is delicious! BUUuuut I like mine heated up in the morning, so here is how I do mine the night before still making them “overnight oats” just warm and comforting in the morning like oats should be π



What You’ll Need:
- A mason jar with a lid you can seal tightly
- 1/2 cup rolled GF oats
- 1/2 super ripe banana
- 2 TBL of hemp hearts ( MB Hemp Hearts )
- 2 tsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tsp cacao nibs ( bulk barn)
- 1 tbl of shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 – 1 cup coconut milk/almond milk
What to do:
- Start by scooping 1/2 cup of rolled oats into jar
- next of banana slices
- next add hemp hearts and chia
- next add cinnamon and coconut together
- next add rest of banana and the nibs
- finally pour over the coconut milk
- seal lid tightly and shake around a few times
- put in the fridge, upside down
- Go to sleep, wake up and heat up the jar ( without the lid) for about 2 mins!
There ya go warm comforting oats , how oats should be except you made them overnight so you have more time to do important things …. like sleep in! Β
